CROWNS

Crowns are made out of Monolithic Zirconia or PFM (porcelain fused to metal) they are matched to your tooth colour and sit like a ‘hat’ over a prepared tooth. They are strong and restore a broken-down tooth back to its natural shape. Crowns can be prescribed due to horizontal or vertical teeth fractures and after Root Canal Therapies to strengthen a tooth. They can also be used to restore broken down front teeth and enhance a smile.

BRIDGES

Bridges are used to fill in missing teeth. Generally, the teeth adjacent to the missing tooth will be used to support a fake tooth ‘pontic’ which sits in the area where the tooth is missing. Techniques are used for the gum to position over the fake tooth so that it naturally looks like your own.
