Dentures

Acrylic dentures may be used if you are missing all of your teeth or some of your teeth. They are made in a special acrylic and restore function to eating, speaking and the shape the cheeks and lips after tooth loss.

Depending on a patient’s level of bone they may qualify for dental implants that can help stabilise lower and upper dentures in the mouth see implant supported dentures.

Partial upper dentures for 1,2,3 or more missing teeth may be required and are a more cost-effective way of filling in missing teeth. They can also be used temporarily through implant treatment particularly if implants are placed in the smiling area so that you are never without teeth.
