Oral Sedation

Oral Sedation may be prescribed to anxious patients who may not qualify for IV sedation or for patients who experience pre-treatment ‘butterflies’. Prescribed medication may be taken as directed by Dr Preketes one hour prior to the appointment to treat anxiety. Dr Angelo Preketes is an IV sedationist and is qualified to safely administer oral sedatives and Nitrous oxide concurrently in a safe environment with continuous patient vital signs monitoring.  A responsible adult over the age of 18 will be required after these appointments to safely transport the patient privately and directly home.
